The 18th WSC jointly sponsored by KOSHA, International Labor Organization (ILO) and International Society Safety Association (ISSA) under the support of the Ministry of Labor will be held at COEX located at Samseong-dong, Seoul for 4 days from June 29 to July 2, 2008.

The government, labor-management organizations, occupational safety and health research institutes, corporate experts related the occupational safety and health, and many other academic experts participated in the WSC which is held every 3 years. As an international congress held to contribute to the prevention of industrial accidents through the exchange of new technologies and information related to safety at workplaces, exchange of experiences and knowledge on preventing occupational diseases, and the safety and health cooperative projects and exchanges between members, this congress has served to the prevention of accident and the protection of workers' health.
