Agreement to make a safe and business-friendly city

KOSHA sign MOU with Si-heung, Gyung-gi province on 18^th

KOSHA(President: Hun-ki Baek) and Si-heung, one of cities in Gyung-gi province(mayor: Yoon-shik Kim) signed MOU on making a safe city.

KOSHA would lay a firm ground to make the city safe and sound by reducing occupational accidents through MOU on making a vivid city with safe work places signed at meeting room of the Si-heung city hall on 19^th September.

The city records higher occupational accidents rates (0.65%) than the average of the nation especially with frequent accidents in the manufacturing work places in ‘Si-heung smart hub area’, the industrial complex.

With the MOU signed KOSHA and the city would focus on initiatives as below:

△ Providing OSH training

△ Assisting safety inspection and technology

△ Co-developing promotion program of safety

Meanwhile both parts are also planning to wage joint campaigns for the safety of residents.

President Hun-ki Baek said “Many famous cities across the world are trying to make their areas safer” adding that he expects this MOU would help Si-heung be the safe and business-friendly city.  End.
