KOSHA visits fields in Dae-jeon to check status of OSH

President Hun-ki Baek of KOSHA visited industrial fields in Dae-jeon, Feb. 14 in an effort to find ways to develop safety and health strategies.

The president’s delegation visited toilet paper manufacturer in Seo gu, and transportation company located in Dae-deok gu, to check general status of OSH and identify problems related with safety and health of workers.

As for the toilet paper manufacturer, they checked the assistance status of work environment improvement for the small-sized work places, discussing prevention measures against crushes.

Following the visit, they moved to the transportation company where they checked heath risks such as MSDS of workers due to long hour driving, encouraging the employer to use KOSHA’s ‘financial assistance for enhancing the health of working men and women’.

President Baek said that he would listen to the voice of the field to reflect it in drafting prevention policies, continuing to visit work places across the nation to encourage employers to pay more attention to OSH of their workers.
