KOSHA discussed ways to promote cooperation between large corporations and their partners

President Hun-ki Baek of KOSHA visited a manufacturer of car components located in Chungnam province on Tuesday June, 4 and discussed with representatives from 34 work places ways to promote OSH through cooperation between large conglomerates and their partners, as injuries occur frequently in recent days in the partner companies.

The meeting where representatives from 16 conglomerates and 18 partners joined, was organized to find ways for large companies to support their partners who are normally lack of resources to invest in the OSH.

The representatives said in concert that they should strengthen the OSH management for the small partners and exchanged their views on: supporting OSH joint cooperation programs; supporting training; making manual for accident occurrence; assisting to build up risk assessment by types of partners.

President Hun-ki Baek said “Large conglomerates those who cooperate with their partners see lower accident rates than others who do not.” encouraging all the participants to be all the more committed to making work places safe.
