President of KOSHA discussed safety measures in a visit to the Lotte World Tower construction site

○ Baek Hun-ki, president of KOSHA, paid a visit on August 23 to the Lotte World Tower construction site in Jamsil, Seoul to discuss accident prevention plans.

○ The construction has restarted after a 40-day suspension imposed when one construction worker at the site fell from height to death in June.

○ The visit was to see how safety and accident prevention measures are managed and to discuss workers’ safety and health measures with a general safety and health manager of the project and officials from 13 contractors. The discussion addressed seamless cooperation between the project owner and contractors and support measures by KOSHA to prevent accidents.
