KOSHA visited KRA and checked the current safety status on September 12

KOSHA visited Korea Racing Authority (KRA) and Seoul Racecourse Trainer's Association located in Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do on Friday, September 12 and checked the current status of safety and health of workers in the Korea's racing industry.

KOSHA had discussion with related officials on current activities of accident prevention in racecourse and safety and health challenges ahead.

During his visit, President of KOSHA delivered personal protective equipment such as dust masks and emphasized on the safety mentioning "Considering the characteristics of horse raising industry which is unexpected and unpredictable, thorough compliance with safety regulations as well as regular inspection should be prerequisite."
