KOSHA operates an integrated application and launches ‘Safety Check’ app
Enhancing utilization and realistic feature of OSH information

KOSHA strengthens the OSH in the world of Android. KOSHA has recently combined the 9 existing applications (app) into ‘KOSHA’ app and newly launched ‘Safety Check’ app.

The KOSHA application encompasses the 9 apps which KOSHA has developed: Breaking Accident News; Interpreter; OSH Knowledge Reservoir; First-aid Treatment, etc. Now the KOSHA app provides various services and information without inconvenience of installing each of apps separately.

This integrated application provides services such as Breaking Accident News which delivers newsflash of major occupational accidents; Interpreter which translates basic conversation on site by type of industries with 1,300 sentences in 13 different languages; OSH Media; Building up Health; MSDS which provides information of chemicals; Biorhythms; OSH Education Schedule in Construction; and KOSHA  Technical Guide.

Today’s weather and severity of occupational accident are shown on the top page of the KOSHA app. In line with that, dangerous levels of fire, fall, stroke, and explosion and rupture are indicated with ‘very high’ or ‘warning’ as well.

The newly launched Safety Check app consists of check lists for workplaces. With the app, workplaces with hazardous tools and machineries will be able to perform inspection with nothing but a smartphone.
