KOSHA extended an MOU with the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) on March 10 at the headquarters of NIOSH located in Washington D.C. in the United States.

This is the extension of an MOU created in 2012. It has been 20 years since KOSHA first created the MOU in 1996 and has maintained close relations with NIOSH through technical cooperation.

Taking this MOU extension as a momentum, the both organization will keep their cooperation as well as will find new measures for further collaboration.

In accordance with the MOU, KOSHA and NIOSH will work together by exchanging human and technical resources, holding experts inviting workshop, and conducting joint researches.

At the ceremony, President Lee, Young-soon asked NIOSH to show active support for the 31^st International Congress on Occupational Health which will be held at the end of May this year in Korea.
