‘ 75 OSH Research Results Unveiled’

Research on directions for OSH policy and system

 

□ Korea Occupational Safety and Health Research Institute (OSHRI)
opens 75 reports of research on occupational safety and health.

○ Those are results of OSHRI's activities in 2015 and suggesting
directions for OSH policy. Also showing domestic trend of OSH in industry.

○ Researches are mainly based on the five areas: policy, safety,
occupational health, working condition and chemicals; and each area has
different number of reports

*note: 24 reports for policy, 9 for safety, 14 for occupational health, 11 for
working condition and 17 for chemicals.

□ This year's reports are focused on practical use on site. Especially a
device has been developed based on 「Research on electric shock
accident prevention for mobile equipment」which is one of the research
topic for safety, and it is in process of application for patent.

OSH」
and resaerch reports' content can be found by search menu of its website: http://oshri.kosha.or.kr.

□ Kwon, Hyuck-myun, Director of OSHRI said that, "The reports are in
line with support to government's OSH policy and proactive OSH issue

and "I hope opening and sharing of the results can bring further
improvement of occupational safety and health".
