□ KOSHA (President Young Soon Lee) presented Shinsegae Food Co., Ltd (Johnny Rockets) with the 『Safety?Wellness Franchise Certification』 on November 1.

□「Safety?Wellness Franchise Certification」is awarded by KOSHA to franchise headquarters that establish an autonomous safety and health management system which includes the planning, executing, and monitoring of safety and health related activities.

○ KOSHA launched this certification system in 2014 and has awarded 7 franchise headquarters, and Shinsegae Food Co., Ltd became the 8th recipient.

□ Shinsegae Food Co., Ltd. applied for the certification to KOSHA in May and was certified this time through consultation, on-site inspection, and evaluation processes.

○ Seoul Central City Branch and 5 other branches of Shinsegae Food Co., Ltd (Johnny Rockets) have established a safety and health management system, performed risk assessment to improve their work environment, and received certifications as well.

□ "This certification is the result of coordinated effort between the franchise headquarter establishing a safety and health management system and KOSHA providing technical support," said KOSHA President Young Soon Lee, "KOSHA will provide technical support to any franchise companies that seek certification under the core values of Government 3.0: openness, sharing, communication, and collaboration.”
