KOSHA, Gold Prize Winner for IBA 2016

KOSHA, Gold Prize for TV Campaign Media, Bronze Prize for Public Relations through Monthly Magazine

□ KOSHA (President Lee, Young-Soon) won the Gold and the Bronze Prizes at the ‘International Business Awards 2016.

The International Business Awards (IBA) is an international contest which evaluates the marketing and public relations activities promoted by companies and organizations around the world for a year, and it is referred to as the Oscar in business world.

○ This year, applicants from over 60 countries submitted 3,800 or more pieces, and over 200 experts participated as juries to select winners.

 

□ KOSHA’s TV campaign,「Safe Workplace, Healthy Workers」, won the Gold Prize in the media section and its monthly magazine ‘Safety and Health’ won Bronze Prize in the public relations section.

○ The Gold Prize winning TV campaign, Safe Workplace, Healthy Workers」, expressed the stiff theme, prevention of occupational accident, in a way that anyone can understand easily.

○ It helped viewer’s understanding by expressing the process of finding and improving risk factors in a sketchy technique where pencil and eraser appear and also combined animation and actual image to draw more attention.

“The attention and participation of every member of the society are important in preventing occupational accidents,” said a KOSHA official “KOSHA will spread the values of Government 3.0 through the openness, sharing, communication, and collaboration of safety andhealth information and create contents that people can relate to.“ (End)
