A Poster Competition for the XVIII World Congress... 2006.08.02

The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency welcomes entries to the poster-competition designed to promote the XVIII World Congress on Safety and Health at Work to be held at the Seoul COEX Convention Center from June 29 to July 2, 2008.

1. Poster theme

Construct in English contents that can advertise Korea?s hosting of the XVIII World Congress on Safety and Health at Work and promote the image of the Congress, including the following essential items:

2. Contest eligibility: Open to both natives and foreigners

3. Size of posters and rules on submission
Poster size: A2 size (594mm*420mm); Orientation: Portrait
A person can submit up to 2 entries (no entry charges).
Indicate your contact details and other information in the application form and attach them to the reverse side of the poster entry.
Attach the colored posters on certain types of panel and send them to the address below (pack poster entries properly to prevent damage) together with the work in CD format (compile in a 300dpi jpg file or higher) or hand-carry them directly to the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (winners shall be required to submit a separate ai file later).
Foreigners may send only the CD (compile in a 300dpi jpg file or higher and save the data to a CD; submit the CD via snail mail together with the application form (winners shall be required to submit a separate ai file in the future).

4. Period of receiving entries: August 1 (Tues) ~ September 30 (Sat), 2006

For entries sent via snail mail, only those bearing a postmark dated September 30 shall be accepted.

The names of the winners shall be posted at the homepage of the XVIII World Congress on Safety and Health at Work (www.safety2008korea.org) and Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (www.kosha.or.kr).
Winners shall also be notified individually.

< Notes >

No entries shall be returned. Likewise, all intellectual property rights for the winning entries and all other rights to such shall belong to the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency.
The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency may use the winning entry as is or with some modifications.
Entries shall be original works and shall be manufactured directly by the applicants. After the entries are submitted, applicants shall assume all responsibilities in case of copyright disputes and/or piracy.
Any entry whose contents were found to have been plagiarized or copied from existing domestic or foreign works shall be disqualified from the contest. Likewise, the owner of any winning entry found to carry reasonable grounds for disqualification may be stripped of the award, and the paid cash prize, recovered.
No winning entry may be declared based on the result of the screening. Works that promote or criticize specific individuals or organizations or those with unknown contact details shall be excluded from the screening.
