The air supplied respirator won the Minister of Employment and labor prize in the safety product contest which is held under the goal of enhancing safety and convenience of equipment such as protection equipment, protective device and explosion proof device which are used on the job sites.

The air supplied respirator refers to respiratory device that provides workers with a fresh air at a confined place where oxygen is lack.

Users can easily change the facial penetration film of this respirator created by a company named Kyungdo, which allows them to have a better vision. The respirator boasts its feature of not being broken as the company chose to use a strong material for the device.

KOSHA highly recognized Kyungdo’s successfully reducing around half of the product’s weight which will help workers prevent the musculoskeletal disorders especially for those who are working long hours.

The 16^th best protective device and protection equipment contest exposed 31 products from 25 companies among which 8 device won awards in 4 sectors.

KOSHA will exhibit those products in COEX during the first week of July, the 45^th occupational health and safety week. They are also introduced in the promotion materials and posted on KOSHA’s website through which these excellent products could be widely used. End.
