KOSHA signs MOU with franchise conglomerates

KOSHA signed Memorandum of Understanding with 7 big franchise companies July 18 on preventing accidents in the food and catering service industry.

The seven companies are: Lotteria; Genesis Group’s BBQ; Domino’s Pizza Korea; McDonald’s Korea; Pizza hut Korea; CJ Food Ville; MPK Group.

According to the MOU, KOSHA and these conglomerates are focused on following initiatives:

- Setting up OSH system in the headquarters and their franchises

- Providing guidelines for safe delivery service

- Improving facilities and work environment through financial assistance

- Carrying out ‘Safety Commitment’ signing campaigns

A person from KOSHA said “This signing of MOU would be an opportunity to work together with franchise conglomerates to be all the more focused on preventing accidents in the service sector.”
